Thanks for the patch! I have pushed a separate commit with my fixes, but
it does not pass the test. Please, fix it.

And use unit.h helpers: ok, isnt, is, fail etc to test something instead
of assertions. Assert is omitted in Release build, and the test will test
nothing.
