The parallel applier perhaps sends fewer acks than sequential one,
but it still sends a ton of acks - at least a 1000 acks per peer 
on a busy system. And this is true for each peer, 2-5 peers are a
common set up.

In the previous round I requested to benchmark the change. Setting
up a 3-peer replication cluster on a localhost and generating 
artificial replication workload is a pretty straightforward task.

You already have all the scripts from parallel applier benchmarks.

If you can't run the benchmark, please share the scripts, it will
at least save time for others to run construct it.
